BRAISED CELERY 
4 c. sliced celery
4 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. grated onion
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. chicken broth
1 c. light cream
1 c. sliced almonds

Cover and cook 15 minutes celery, butter, grated onion. Shake to avoid burning. Sprinkle flour over and stir well gradually add chicken broth. Stir. Last add cream and almonds.
