FROSTY STRAWBERRY DESSERT 
2 c. sliced strawberries or 1 (10 oz.) frozen
1 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar (2/3 c. if using frozen berries)
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipped cream

In bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, walnuts, and butter until crumbly. Sprinkle onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring 3 times to break up crumbs. As mixture bakes, whip egg whites until frothy. Gradually beat in sugar. Add berries and lemon juice. Beat at high speed about 10 minutes until very light and fluffy. Fold in whipped cream. Into bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan sprinkle about 2/3 of crumb mixture. Evenly spread strawberry mixture on top. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Freeze 4 hours or until firm.
