ITALIAN LOVE CAKE 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
2 lb. Ricotta cheese
4 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 c. milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and pour in 9 x 13 inch pan. Prepare cake as directed. Pour into prepared pan. With mixer on medium - mix Ricotta cheese, eggs, vanilla and sugar until fluffy. Carefully pour onto cake mix. Careful not to mix the 2. Bake for 1 hour. Cheese will go to the bottom. Take cake out and cool thoroughly.

Mix Cool Whip, pudding and milk until a moist consistency. Frost cooled cake. Top with mini chocolate chips. Store cooled.
