JAM CAKE 
2 c. white sugar
3 1/4 c. flour
1 c. butter
6 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. each cloves, cinnamon, allspice
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. blackberry jam
1 c. peach jam
1 c. strawberry jam

Cream sugar, butter, add buttermilk and soda. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well. Add jam. Sift flour with spices. Add nuts, raisins to cup of flour. Add to mixture. Beat well.

Bake in tube pan which has been greased and floured. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hour. Frost with your favorite caramel icing.
