OATMEAL-CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar, light or dark
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
5 c. oatmeal (put sm. amounts into blender until it turns to powder; measure first, then blend)
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda

Mix all ingredients and add a 24 ounce bag of chocolate chips, 1 (9 ounce) Hershey bar, grated, and 3 cups of chopped nuts (of your choice). Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet. Make golf ball sized cookies, place 2 inches apart, and bake at 375 degrees for 6 minutes.

NOTE: To make flatter cookies, flatten with a spatula after 3 minutes, then bake an additional 3-5 minutes more depending on your oven. Yields 100-115 cookies.
