OVEN FRIED CHICKEN 
3 c. corn flakes, crushed
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. basil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. butter (or butter flavor Crisco
1 (3 to 4 lb.) chicken, cut up

Mix together the crushed corn flakes, garlic, salt and pepper. Dip chicken into melted butter and then roll in corn flakes mixture. Place chicken pieces with skin side up, on a greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle remaining corn flake mixture over top of all chicken and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Do not turn chicken while cooking.
