CHEESE AND NUT LOAF 
3 tbsp. oil
1 chopped onion
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 c. cottage cheese
2 tbsp. chives
1/4 c. toasted sesame seeds
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. thyme
Salt
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 c. wheat germ

Saute onion in oil. Add celery and cook 5 minutes. Combine nuts, rice, cheese, chives, seeds, parsley, thyme, salt and eggs in a bowl. Stir in onion mixture.

Oil a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan and dust with wheat germ. Pour bowl mixture in pan and sprinkle remaining wheat germ on top. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees. Serves 8 to 10.
