A - 1 BASIC RED BBQ SAUCE 
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. A-1
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. brown sugar

FOR STEAKS & HAMBURGERS:

Mix all ingredients; simmer 5 minutes. Makes 2 cups.

FOR CHICKEN:

Add 3 tablespoons pineapple preserve (and baste chicken as they grill).

FOR SPARERIBS:

Add 1/2 (3 oz.) can frozen concentrated orange juice. (Baste ribs as they grill).
