DUMPLINGS FOR CHICKEN OR STEW 
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/4 c. butter
1 c. milk

Mix parsley in milk. Sift dry ingredients together. Mix shortening into flour mixture with pastry blender. With fork lightly mix in milk to form soft dough. Stir as little as possible. Drop dough by tablespoon onto cooked chicken pieces or vegetables into boiling stew. Simmer 10 minutes uncovered then cover and simmer 10 minutes longer.
