GINGER COOKIES 
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs. Blend in dry ingredients. Dough is soft. Roll in balls and then roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes in 350 degree oven. 6-8 dozen.
