CHOCOLATE SCOTCH BARS 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
6 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. pecan pieces
1 1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted

Cream together first 4 ingredients. Add flour and salt. Mix well. Divide dough in half. To one half of dough, add melted unsweetened chocolate. Spread into 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Gently spread remaining dough on top. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecan pieces.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
