RITZ CRACKER DESSERT | |
3 egg whites 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 21 Ritz crackers, crushed 1 c. chopped nuts 1 tsp. vanilla Beat egg whites very stiff. Add 1 cup sugar and vanilla; set aside. Crush the Ritz crackers very fine. Add 1 cup nuts and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Fold into the egg white mixture. Spread into well greased pan. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Whip 1 cup cream - sweetened. Spread on top of baked and cooled cracker mixture. Leave overnight or at least 5 to 6 hours in refrigerator before serving. |
