QUICK AND EASY ROLLS | |
2-3 c. plain flour 3/4 c. warm water 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. oil 1 pkg. dry yeast 1/2 tsp. salt Melted butter 1 egg Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar, oil, salt and egg. Stir to dissolve sugar and salt. Stir in 1 cup flour until smooth. Cover with cloth and place in warm oven to rise for 15 minutes. Grease 13x9 pan; stir down batter and add 1 cup flour. Stir until mixed and turn onto floured surface. Knead 3 minutes. If sticky, knead in 1/4 cup flour. Divide dough into 16 equal pieces and shape quickly into balls. Arrange in pan and brush tops with melted butter. Cover with cloth and let rise 25 minute. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Bake 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned. |
