NUT GOODY BAR | |
3 (8 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate discs (candy store) 2 c. peanut butter 1 c. butter 1/4 c. vanilla pudding (not instant) 1/2 c. evaporated milk 2 lb. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 lb. nuts (pecans, walnuts or peanuts) Melt chocolate and peanut butter in double boiler. Pour 1/2 of mixture into jelly roll pan (approximately 10 x 15 1/2 inch). Put in freezer while making second layer. In large pot mix butter, pudding and milk. Boil mixture 1 minute, then add sugar and vanilla. Spread over first layer and return to freezer for a few minutes. Add nuts to other half of chocolate mixture and spread over other 2 layers. Refrigerate, cut later, can be frozen. |
