CABBAGE PROVENCIAL SOUP 
1/2 lb. bacon
1 1/2 heads white cabbage, shredded
1 1/2 onions, sliced
5 cloves garlic, chopped
1 lg. can crushed tomatoes
1 can (48 oz.) tomato soup
1/6 c. chicken base
Pinch of white pepper
3 qts. water

1. Chop bacon and brown.

2. Add sliced onions; cook for 5 minutes.
