PECAN PIE 
1 box light brown sugar
1 stick butter, melted
4 eggs
2 tbsp. cornmeal
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
2 c. pecans, halved or chopped
2 (8 inch) unbaked pie crusts

Beat eggs until fluffy; add all other ingredients and blend. Turn mixture into two unbaked pastry shells. Bake at 300 to 325 degrees for 45 minutes. (I put pecans in bottom of pastry shells - they rise to top while baking.)
