WHIPPED CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
6 eggs
3 c. plain flour, sifted
1/2 pt. whipping cream
Pinch of salt

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Alternate flour and whipping cream, starting with flour and ending wiht flour until all is used. Generously butter and flour large tube pan. (Use pan with stationary bottom.) Bake at 300 degrees approximately 2 hours.
