APPLE BUTTER MADE ON THE STOVE 
12 c. cooked apples
12 c. sugar
1 c. red vinegar
1 c. cinnamon imperials

Run apples through colander. Combine all ingredients in large kettle to keep from popping out while boiling. Bring to rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 30 minutes or 45 minutes, if you want it thick enough to slice. Pour into sterilized jars and seal with hot lids.

ALWAYS stir apple butter with long handled wooden spoon!
