EASY LAYER SALAD | |
1 med. head of lettuce 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, cooked and drained 1/2 c. red onion, chopped 1/2 c. celery, chopped 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped 1 pt. mayonnaise 1 tbsp. sugar 3/4 c. grated sharp cheese 10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled Lay ingredients in pan in layers as listed above lettuce, peas, onion, celery, green pepper, mayonnaise, sugar, cheese and bacon. When adding mayonnaise, seal edges. Sprinkle sugar on top of mayonnaise, then crumble bacon. Cover tightly and let set for 24 hours in refrigerator. Toss just prior to serving. |
