3 c. chopped nuts
1 lb. dates
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
5 egg whites

Mix dry ingredients, nuts and dates. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add vanilla. Then mix with other ingredients. Pour in wide loaf pan that is greased and floured. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
