STRAWBERRY-FIG PRESERVES 
3 c. ripe figs, peeled
3 c. sugar
2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello

Mix all ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Stir over heat until it boils, then boil for 15 minutes. Stir with wooden spoon to keep from burning. Pour into sterilized jars and seal. Cool. Refrigerate.
