FRUIT COBBLER 
1 stick butter

Melt in a 9 inch casserole.

BATTER:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 can fruit (peaches, fruit cocktail, etc.)
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder

Pour batter into melted butter, but do not stir. Pour drained fruit into batter, but do not stir.

Place in a 350 oven and cook 45 minutes or until crust is brown.

If tart fruit is used, add 1/4 cup sugar to fruit.
