MANDARIN SALAD 
DRESSING:

1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. salad oil
Dash red pepper sauce (Tabasco)
1 tbsp. parsley

SALAD:

1/4 c. almonds, sliced
1/4 head lettuce
1/4 head Romaine
1 c. chopped celery
2 green onions (with tops), thinly sliced
1 can mandarin oranges

Shake dressing ingredients in tightly covered jar. Refrigerate.

Tear lettuce and Romaine into bite size pieces (about 4 cups). Place in plastic bag; add celery and onions. Fasten bag securely and refrigerate.

To serve, pour dressing and almonds in bag. Shake. Drain oranges and add to bag. Shake.
