BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. + 2 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. buttermilk (substitution - plain yogurt)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 ripe, mashed bananas
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Mix. Then add mashed bananas. Sift flour and baking soda together. Add flour mixture to buttermilk, alternating to form mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Spread in 2 greased bread loaf tins. Bake for 45 minutes. Cool thoroughly before serving.
