EASY PRALINES 
1 box brown sugar (2 1/4 c.), firmly packed
1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 tbsp. butter
Pinch of salt
1 c. pecans

Combine above in heavy saucepan. Boil to soft ball stage, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until creamy. Stir in pecans. Drop by spoonful on waxed paper.
