STEAMED COD SUPPER 
1 lb. frozen cod
1 tbsp. butter
2 sm. onions, thinly sliced
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can clams, drained
1 (4 1/2 oz.) can shrimp, drained
1/2 c. gouda or cheddar cheese
Dill weed
1/4 tsp. salt
Pepper

Remove cod from package and allow to stand at room temperature 20 minutes. Cut fish into 8 pieces. In a skillet, melt butter, saute onions until tender. Place fish on onion, cover and steam over low heat for 2 minutes. Add clams, shrimp, cheese, salt, pepper and dill. Cover and steam 2 more minutes. Remove from pan to warm platter. Makes 4 servings.

I added a little vermouth tho the onions and saffron. My cheese was artigiana balsamic ciplioni - a sharp wonderful white. Oh an a little bit of white pepper. Very delicious!
