RAISIN SAUCE FOR DUFFS GINGER
BREAD
 
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. seedless raisins
1 tbsp. butter

Mix brown sugar and cornstarch. Add boiling water a little at a time. Set over low heat. When it begins to boil, add raisins. Let simmer 5 minutes, stirring once in a while. Remove from heat. Stir in butter.
