POULTRY MARINADE 
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. salad oil
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp. ground pepper

Combine ingredients. Use to marinate beef, pork, or chicken for broiling or grilling. Makes 1 1/4 cups.

Marinate boneless chicken breasts overnight. Grill until done. For variation place deli sliced ham and 1 slice of Monterey Jack cheese on each piece of cooked chicken. When cheese melts, remove from grill.
