JELLY ROLL 
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cold water
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs until light. Add the sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Then add the water. Sift the dry ingredients together and add gradually to the egg mixture. Add the vanilla last. Grease a jelly roll pan 11 x 15 inch. Place waxed paper on the bottom and grease again.

Spread batter on this and bake in a moderate hot oven 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Turn out at once on a tea towel and remove the wax paper. Spread with jam or jelly and roll up. Wrap securely in a towel until cool. Remove towel and ice. Garnish with maraschino cherries or nuts.
