ICE CREAM KOLACHY COOKIES 
1 pt. vanilla ice cream (softened)
1 lb. softened butter
4 c. sifted flour
Cherry or blueberry filling

Take softened ice cream and butter and whip together. Gradually add flour. Mix in 2 parts (2 cups flour each time). It is hard to mix, otherwise. Chill 1 hour in refrigerator. Make into balls and press indentations of thumb in center and fill with pie filling; 1 teaspoon to each. One cup of powdered sugar may be added if a sweeter cookie is desired. Sprinkle with powdered sugar after baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
