BANANA NUT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. bananas, mashed or pureed
1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. pecan pieces

Prepare cake mix according to instructions on box, except reduce the amount of water by 1/4 cup. Add bananas and fold in nuts. Pour into prepared 11x13 inch pan or two 9-inch layer pans. Bake at 350 degrees for time specified on cake mix box. Test for doneness by lightly touching cake. If indentation springs back up cake is done. Cake is quite moist.

Serve hot or cold with whipped topping and sliced bananas.
