PERSIMMON POPS 
4 sheets of egg roll wrappers
Oil for deep frying
1 c. soft-dried persimmon pulp
1 oz. sesame seeds
1 lemon, grated rind and juice
Karo syrup - approximately 1/4 cup to hold mixture together

Have egg roll wrappers ready (cut each sheet into 6 pieces). Heat oil for deep frying. Mix filling. Roll filling in egg roll wrappers. Twist ends (like party pops). Fry in deep fat until nicely browned. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
