MILK CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER
BARS
 
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. flour
3/4 stick butter (6 oz.), softened
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
6 c. chocolate bits (milk or semi-sweet)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixer bowl combine peanut butter and butter, beat until smooth. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla and beat until creamy. Blend in flour and salt. Stir in 1 cup of chocolate bits. Spread into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until edges begin to brown.

Sprinkle with remaining chocolate bits. Let stand 5 minutes until the morsels become shiny and soft. Spread chocolate until even. Cool completely. Cut into 1 1/2 inch bars. Makes 48 bars.
