PEEL A POUND SOUP 
1 med. head cabbage, chopped
1 bunch celery, sliced
4 lg. green pepper, sliced
8 carrots, sliced
6 zucchini, sliced
8 to 10 water chestnuts, diced
12 to 16 mushrooms, sliced
1 new potato, diced
1 lg. onion, diced
2 (16 oz.) cans whole tomatoes with juice
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 1/2 qts. water (enough to cover)
3 bouillon cubes
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp. oregano
1 tbsp. basil
1/8 tbsp. pepper
1/4 tbsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. dried parsley, optional
1 pkg. (6 or 8 oz.) whole wheat macaroni

Combine all ingredients. Simmer 3 hours. No salt! Use up to 8 cups a day with salad and small portion of chicken for dinner. Lose 10 lbs. in 2 weeks.!
