Kuchen Dough: 1/2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. shortening 1 egg (in measuring cup + enough milk to measure 1 c.) 5 apples Mix dry ingredients - add shortening. Then add egg and milk mixture. Blend and spread dough on jelly roll pan. Peel, slice and arrange apples on dough. Topping: 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 3 tbsp. butter Mix and spread evenly over apples. Bake 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. | |
