SOUR CREAM ONION PIE 
1 pastry for 9 inch pie crust
2 1/2 c. thinly sliced onions
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. dry sherry
1 pt. sour cream
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. paprika
Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

Bake pricked pastry shell at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, saute onions in butter until softened, blend in flour, add sherry and stir. Add remaining ingredients and blend well.

Pour into crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes (until filling is firm). Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes. Cut in wedges, serve as a vegetable.
