BRAN MUFFINS 
1/2 c. Crisco or 1/2 c. corn oil
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. baking soda
2 c. 40% Bran Flakes
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. boiling water
1/2 pkg. raisins (1 c.)
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 tbsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. Kellogg's All Bran
2 c. buttermilk or 2 c. low fat milk

Cream Crisco, add sugar gradually. Then beat eggs well and blend in sugar mixture. Mix well, then add buttermilk, molasses and brans. Stir well.

Then add boiling water. Stir well with soda, flour and salt and add to mixture. Add raisins. This will keep a month in refrigerator. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

DO NOT stir when you take it from the refrigerator to put in tins.
