1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. Kellogg's All Bran cereal
1 c. boiling water
1 c. 100% Nabisco bran cereal
1 pt. buttermilk
2 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour

Pour boiling water over Nabisco bran. Cool. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, all bran, soda, and salt. Add flour alternating with buttermilk. Add Nabisco bran (water mixture). Grease muffin tins. Fill 1/2 way with mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Batter may be refrigerated indefinitely. Yield: 3 dozen.
