PESTO SALAD (USING BASIL) 
8 oz. bow tie noodles or something similar in size
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1/2 c. chopped fresh basil (or 1 tbsp. dried)
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley (eliminate if fresh basil is used)
1 clove garlic minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. grated fresh Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. olive oil or part vegetable part olive
Fresh ground pepper

Cook noodles according to package directions. In food processor or blender combine vinegar, basil, garlic, salt and sugar and blend. Add cheese. Add oil with machine running in a slow steady stream. Toss with noodles and refrigerate at least an hour before serving. Garnish with cherry tomatoes before serving.
