MICHIGAN SAUCE FOR HOT DOGS 
1 med. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 1/4 lb. hamburger
12 oz. bottle chili sauce
15 oz. tomato sauce
12 oz. tomato paste
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar
5 quick shakes Tabasco sauce
1 tbsp. salt

Saute onion and pepper in oil until soft. Add crumbled hamburger and cook until pink is gone. Add chili sauce, tomato paste, tomato sauce, prepared mustard, and sugar. STIR. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes. Add vinegar, hot sauce, and salt. STIR. Serve as a topping for hot dogs on rolls.
