CUBE STEAKS IN GRAVY 
Cube steaks
Oil
Flour
Mushroom soup
Water
Sherry

Brown cube steaks in 2 tablespoons cooking oil. Remove and set aside. Add 2 tablespoons flour to oil to make thickening. Add 1 can of mushroom soup and 1 can of water; stir until smooth. Add 1-2 tablespoons sherry; stir thoroughly. Return cube steaks to pan and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Serve with rice, noodles or mashed potatoes.
