KNEFLES 
5 slices bread, crumbled
3 eggs
1 lg. pepper, chopped
1 lg. onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 lb. butter
Bread crumbs
Flour

Mix first 5 ingredients together until runny. Add enough flour until mixture becomes a thick pasta. Drop by tablespoons into salted boiling water. Cook for 5 minutes, until they rise to top. Drain.

Melt butter and add bread crumbs. Cook until browned. Toss cooked knefles with bread crumb mixture. Good with pot roast and gravy.
