MY MOTHER'S BROWNIES 
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. sugar
3 heaping tsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 c. broken pecan pieces

Cream butter with sugar and cocoa. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Mix in flour, then add pecans. Pour batter into greased and floured pan. Bake at 325 degrees for about 25 minutes. Do not over bake.
