GRANDMA'S GRAVY 
1 lg. can Italian tomatoes
2 tbsp. chopped red onion
1 whole red pepper
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. chopped basil
1/2 tsp. garlic sugar
3 tbsp. olive oil

Heat oil. Add onion, pressed garlic clove and whole red pepper. Cook on medium until onion is translucent. Take out red pepper. Add tomatoes, oregano and basil; bring to a boil. Lower heat to low and cook for 3/4 hour. Use Grandma's gravy over pasta or your choice. Note: By using fresh herbs the gravy is delicious.
