TURKEY GRAVY | |
Fat Drippings Milk 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. pepper Pour drippings from roasting pan after cooking turkey into large liquid measure. Spoon 4 tablespoons fat from top of drippings and return them to roasting pan. Spoon any remaining fat from drippings. To the drippings, add enough milk to make 4 cups. Blend flour into fat in roasting pan and stir and heat to brown. Gradually add liquid, stirring to blend. Stir and heat to make a smooth gravy. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir and cook 5-10 minutes. This gravy is really delicious! |
