MEATBALL STROGANOFF | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 lb. bulk sausage 1/3 c. milk 1/3 c. flour 1/2 c. minced onion 1 egg 1 tbsp. minced parsley 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tbsp. salt 1/4 c. fat or oil 1 env. cream of mushroom soup 2/3 c. sour cream 1/8 tsp. pepper Hot cooked noodles or rice Mix meat, flour, onion, milk, egg, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Shape into 1" balls. Brown the meatballs in hot fat in skillet. Remove meatballs and in same skillet, prepare soup for gravy as directed on envelope of soup. Return meatballs to skillet and simmer in sauce 20 minutes. Stir in sour cream just before serving. Heat slightly, but do not allow to simmer or boil. Serve over hot cooked noodles or rice. Serves 6 to 8. |
