CHICKEN MARIE WITH MUSHROOMS 
1 1/2 lb. boneless chicken, cut into pieces
1 lg. bell pepper, cut into pieces
1 med. onion, chopped
1 pkg. mushrooms, sliced 1 (8 oz.) can can sub.
2 (8 oz.) cans Del Monte tomato sauce
3 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

In large saucepan, cook chicken over high heat until white. Remove from pan. In same pan, saute peppers and onions in oil until just tender. Add basil, oregano and garlic powder. Stir. Add tomato sauce. Blend. Add chicken, cook until chicken is tender (15-20 minutes) on medium-low heat. Stir occasionally. Add mushrooms. Cook 2 minutes more. Serve with rice. Serves 4.
