CUBAN BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. warm water
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Let rise 1 hour.

GLAZE:

1 egg
1 tsp. water

Dissolve yeast and sugar in water. Stir in flour and salt until stiff dough forms (add a little more flour if sticky.) Knead on floured board about 15 minutes, or until smooth. Place in oiled bowl. Turn dough over. Cover with towel, let rise 1 hour. Punch down and divide in 1/2 shape into 2 long loaves. (French style bread). Place on oiled cookie sheet, let rise 5 minutes. Mix egg white and water, brush tops. Do not pre-heat oven. Set at 400 degrees. Bake 40 to 45 minutes until crusty brown.
