CHOCOLATE CHIP - BUTTERSCOTCH

1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts

Melt butter in a saucepan and add sugar. Stir until melted; cool. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla, then mixture of flour, baking powder and salt, then chocolate. Pour in a greased 11 x 14 inch pan. Cover top with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
