BAKED GRITS 
1 c. grits, cooked in 3 1/2 c. water
1 stick butter (1/2 c.)
1 (3 oz.) pkg. garlic cheese or 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. milk

Combine cooked grits with butter; add cheese and mix well. Stir in milk and eggs. Pour into greased dish, sprinkle with bread crumbs if desired and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
